Matheson History Museum

The Matheson History Museum is located at 513 E. University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32601

From I-75

  1. Take exit 387 to merge onto FL-26 E/W Newberry Road/Gainesville/Newberry Road
  2. Take FL-26 E/W Newberry Road east (1.2 miles)
  3. Turn left onto NW 8th Avenue (4.5 miles)
  4. Turn right onto N Main Street (.5 miles)
  5. Turn left onto NE State Road 24/E. University Ave (.3 miles)
  6. Destination will be on the right.

From Hotel Eleo

  1. Exit parking lot and head north on SW 13th Street (1 mile)
  2. Turn right onto NE State Road 24/W. University Avenue (1.1 miles)
  3. Destination will be on the right.

University of Florida Campus

From I-75

  1. SR-24 exit 384 to Gainesville/Archer
  2. East on Archer Road for approximately three miles.
  3. For Garage 2 – Left at Center Drive Traffic Light then left on Mowry Rd. stop sign (parking garage immediately on left)
  4. For Garage 10 – Left at Newell Drive/Circle of Hope Traffic Light (parking garage immediately on right)

From Garage 10: Walk north on Newell Drive following curve to left and then turn right (under the bridge) around the McKnight Brain Institute.

From Garage 2: Walk north on Center Drive to circular driveway on right.  Walk east through courtyard toward McKnight Brain Institute (optical tile structure on front of building)

To set up posters in the HPNP Building Atrium

From McKnight Brain Institute. Walk west, across Newell Drive and through courtyard between the Harrell Building and the Academic Research Building.  The HPNP building is on the right.  The Atrium where posters will be set up is on the western-most end of the building.

From Garage 2: Walk north on Center Drive to circular driveway on right.  Walk east through courtyard toward McKnight Brain Institute. The HPNP building is the first building on the left.  The Atrium where posters will be set up is on the western-most end of the building.
