UF CARE Member Dr. Jane Aldrich, Professor, Department of Medicinal Chemistry in the UF College of Pharmacy, has been appointed a fellow of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
She is among a cohort of 70 new ACS fellows who are recognized for their outstanding achievements and contributions to science, her profession, and ACS.
Aldrich’s research on analogs of opioids peptides has been continuously funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) for more than 25 years. She has been the principal investigator of over $14 million in research grants.
